Wordless Wednesday sort of

(Over a bridge headed towards Austin, Tx)

Wordless Wednesday sort of is right. Why not speak? Why not share a story with you in hopes of maybe making a connection with you.

Driving long distances is an awesome skill. Yes, it’s a skill. The ability to plan out a trip, know where you are going and where you’ll end up and it takes a few hours, that my friends take skill. Gone are the days when we had to pull out the huge map to see where we’d be headed and now are the times where we rely on our phones to help guide us. I recall one of the first times the hubby and I went on a trip using a map. It was an adventure that I highly recommend to every new relationship. Yes, use a map.

Using your phone as a GPS is now the norm and I actually don’t mind it. I like knowing how long it’s going to take and maybe, just make I can beat the time clock. If you are reading this in 2020, you know that you are constantly trying to beat the estimated time of arrival. It’s just something we do.
