Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is now available everywhere! If you have not seen this film, it is powerful and magical in so many ways. My husband and I saw it in theaters opening weekend and I was truly blown away. Enjoying it at home is an even better experience as you can stop, pause, rewind, and really enjoy the amazing film. I was so excited to also have the opportunity to speak with Interview with Divine Love Konadu-Sun, more on the interview below!
Review
As you can expect, all of the tears started flowing in the scenes of remembrance when the late Chadwick Boseman came on screen. While the film is missing T’Challa, the returning actors, and the introduction to Na’mor Tenoch Huerta and his underwater kingdom.
The run-time for the film is 2 hours and 41 minutes. Could it have been shorter? I think so. Did I watch it super late and doze off a bit? Yes, I did. I think you’ll see some of those scenes where it was just a little extra-extra and we could have done without those parts. But all in all, I did enjoy the movie very much. We didn’t take the kids with us as we saw the last showing on Thursday evening and we have since had a movie night and they really enjoyed it.
I love the backend story that was shared on Namor. As a Mexican-American, the introduction to another Latino character in the MCU made me very happy. Hopefully, we will see him again in the MCU.
