Mamavation Monday

December 4, 2012 By Candy

Oh I’ve been a bad little mama.. I haven’t gotten around to write up my post or visit the forum. Sorry Sistas! I hope to get back into the swing of things at the beginning of the year. I guess any kind of “resolution” like that is always jinxed for the whole “New Year, New Your.” But I actually hope to be a better Sista and comment and follow everyone’s blog.

My fellow Mamavation Sistas are my dear Online friends that a few have become IRL (in real life friends) that we can lean on when we want to do something that probably isn’t the best idea health wise.

I have issues with eating late at night. It’s a daily struggle, as a blogger and working online I stay up late to get my work done while the family is asleep. I spend time with my family during the day and at night mommy gets her work done. It works out well, I guess. Other than that whole eating late at night issue. I try my best to have a water by my side and take sips, but dang it sometimes I get those hunger pangs! LOL and I’ll take a couple handfuls of popcorn or even a chocolate 🙁  (but it’s dark!- doesn’t that make it better?)  Like soda- I’ve been drinking Organic Italian Soda- does that count as good or bad? It’s organic?

Anyhoo- I hope to continue to be a part of this group in the coming year and really start putting some numbers up. I’ll go ahead and “unofficially” announce my New Years Resolution will be to feed myself and my family more health conscious meals and eradicate as much GMO type foods in my home.

HA! You thought I was going to say Loose Weight.. well isn’t that obvious? LOL   Ofcourse I will continue with my journey of dropping weight. It’s a struggle, but I don’t tire easily. I’ll continue to get after it.
