It’s it funny how three day weekends just throw us all off? I don’t care who you are, how in control you are- you woke up this morning thinking it was Monday.
It’s your first day back from a holiday weekend and so it must be Monday. Well until you realize that you are doing your regular Monday schedule only to check the date and notice it is in fact Tuesday. I love having the extra day with my boys and the hubs, but let’s be honest.. It just throws off the universe.
Now just thinking about what needs to happen today- Tuesday, never mind the rest of the week and realize that I now only have 4 days to get it done. It’s alway a rush here and rush there, post this and hurry up and post that. In the end it always gets done though right? We enjoy the extra lazy day we had and then kick it into high gear. The good thing is of course that the weekend is only a few days away.
Gotta love 4 day weekends! Coming from the AF world we missed them. Back big Army.. it’s on. Come on 4 day weekend.

I am all about long weekends. I agree, I do feel rushed the rest of the week.
Bwahahaha. I ALWAYS do that! Whenever there’s a long weekend, I screw up my days for the whole week!
My 7 year old told me this morning that he was confused because he woke up thinking it was Monday. I assured him, he was definitely not alone.

I do love 3 day weekends, but always feel like I need a vacation from the extra time off because we always end up taking a trip! I woke up with that feeling that it is Monday….you are right that its a treat to find out its Tuesday! Enjoy the rest of your week.
Oh my gosh yes! The three day weekends totally throws us off. Today I woke up to my alarm and I was so confused on what day it was! I couldn’t figure why my alarm was going off.. because I had to get the kids up for school.
Long weekends are so fun! I heard few people asking “What’s the date, by the way?” while I was out. We’ve all been thrown off!
It does feel like a Monday! We forgot to bring our trash cans out to be picked up today. Whoops!
My Grandma and I were just discussing this. We were saying it felt like a Saturday though. There was tons of traffic out.
Everyday has felt like a Monday this month, despite the cold weather it’s been super busy! Wake me up when it’s Friday NIGHT (notice I said NIGHT right?) LOL 🙂

All of my days mesh together. I sometimes work on weekends even though life still goes on around me. I don’t go to work on Mondays, I just walk a few feet to my home office. But, I remember those days when I did work outside the home.
I love three day weekends, but yes, they always throw me off! When I have things to do on Thurs or Friday, I almost miss them because I forget what day it is!
3 day weekends do throw you off. And vacations…my husband was on vacay last week and I’m still getting back to normal.
