Brownie Berry Ice Cream Sundae Recipe

February 14, 2016 By Candy

This recipe is super easy and perfect for a weekend to share with your honey. Share it on anniversaries, birthdays, holidays and of course Valentine’s Day! Nothing says love like a homemade gift right?! You’re going to love this Brownie Berry Ice Cream Sundae recipe! Or you can enjoy it anytime! Make one for yourself or share it with your honey like I did!

Brownie Berry Sundae

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Dark Chocolate Ghiradeli brownie mix
  • Heart shaped cookie cutter
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Berries: blueberries, strawberries (you can totally add more berries too)
  • Mint (for garnish to make it look pretty)
  • a nice glass for presentation & spoons to enjoy

You’ll need to make sure you prepare the brownies in a flat pan, remember you’ll be cutting out shapes. If your brownies are too thick you won’t have much room in the pretty glass for everything else. If you are planning on using a bowl then thick is ok. Prepare your brownies, bake and let them cool before cutting. Notice my brownies have nuts, if you want add nuts prior to baking. After they are cooled grab your cute cookie cutter and cut out a few hearts. Oh also when you start the process put your glasses or bowl in the freezer! You know how you enjoy a cold glass for your beer, do it for your dessert glassware too! It’s a neat trick.

Double sundae

Wash your berries and cut a few nice pieces of mint for your garnish. Add your ice cream a couple scoops of ice cream first then arrange your brownie heart and add your fruit. If you want to warm up the brownie prior to serving that would be a nice touch too!

This is a nice dessert to serve to your special someone and your family too. A good friend told me recently, “Why should you keep all your nice stuff only for company? You should be able to enjoy it anytime!” Which is so true! Life is short friends, let’s enjoy everyday.

Question:

When would you serve this beautiful dessert?

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Cheers!

Super easy is always a plus. I love berries too. I think I love the berries more than the chocolate
