Did you know Oral-B is pledging $100,000 to Hope For The Warriors® to assist U.S. service members’ reintegration into the workforce? They totally are! Hope for the Warriors is a wonderful organization that works with our service members who were wounded in combat and helps get them on the right track once leaving the military.
If you don’t have a family member who has ever been in the Military you don’t realize the difficulty that service members can have getting gainful employment as they return to lives as Civilians. My husband is one of those people. He served three years right out of high school as an Airborne Infantry man with the 82nd Airborne. After his three year tour was up, he returned home hoping to find a good paying job. Or actually just a job, he enrolled into college as soon as he could. He was so upset to realize that his service to our country meant nothing to employers. Thanks to the Hope for the Warriors organization no other service member will go thru the same situation as my husband. Thankfully he was not wounded in war as his first tour was pre-911.
THE MISSION OF HOPE FOR THE WARRIORS® is to enhance the quality of life for post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty. Hope For The Warriors® is dedicated to restoring a sense of self, restoring the family unit, and restoring hope for our service members and our military families.
