I feel like I was just sitting at El Capitan theater in Hollywood watching The Jungle Book! Thanks to Disney I attended a press trip for the #CaptainAmericaEvent, but all opinions stated in my posts are my opinions. An awesome addition to an amazing fun filled trip was a pre-screening of The Jungle Book. I have been in awe of the trailers and sneaks since I heard about it from the D23 Expo I did a post on last Summer. First of all I love the story of The Jungle Book and I knew Jon Favereau would do an amazing job with it. Here’s my thoughts on The Jungle Book!
One of the things that captured my attention about The Jungle Book was the beautiful visuals in the movie. If you’ve read Rudyard Kipling’s book you can’t help but imagine how beautiful the jungle must have been in his imagination. Well thanks to Jon Favereau we were able to see the amazing jungle and truly feel like we were a part of the movie. Wow, I’m still in awe. Each of the key characters from the animated film truly came to life in this film. We got to see it in 3-D and I have to say that is best way to see it. You’ll enjoy it in 2-D.. but 3-D will just blow your mind. Wow I get chills just thinking about how beautiful the film is.
I was also very happy to have seen the film with my dear friends and fellow bloggers Myrah from CouponMamacita and Taty from CoolMomCoolTips! Go check out their posts and see what they thought about The Jungle Book!
So you’ve heard what I thought about it visually. The voices were truly perfect. As you’ll learn Neel Sethi was the only live action role in the film. The rest of the characters were simply voices behind the cgi animals. I’m sharing this video Jon Favereau talks about the voices behind the characters.
I’m telling you, they could not have cast the voices any better and Neel. Yu will fall in love with him as Mowgli! You will be breathless leaving the theater. Moments of love, suspense and hope all wrapped into a beautiful film with amazing visuals. I can’t wait to take the boys to see Disney The Jungle Book.
