When I first started blogging back in January I quickly realized having a following was very important. With that said leap forward 10 months. Back in September I decided to purchase my own domain and as I call it, “get legit” with this blogging stuff. I enjoyed it that much. I’ve met and “met” (by “met” I mean online) some really great people.
One of the fantastic people I have had the pleasure of being connected to is Nina Frye, Seeds of Social.
While speaking with Nina, she explained growing a following on Twitter organically and having “real” followers. There are actually companies that sell followers to boost of your count. Personally I think that’s totally nuts- but to each his/her own. I’m a “talker” and I love interacting with people so of course I tweet to my followers daily, in most cases and will actually tweet back to people that tweet to me. I appreciate all of my followers.
Back to Seeds of Social.
