My favorite Christmas memory was when I was about two years old and I received a little piano, which I loved so much, and I still remember taking out of the box. I wanted to be the character of ‘Peanuts’ so bad, that when I had the chance that Christmas morning, I placed my water bottle on top of the piano just like he would.

Another favorite memory I had during Christmas was the first time I saw my grandparents exchange a Christmas gift. I was only 4 years old, but seeing my grandmother’s face when she opened her was priceless. I don’t remember what it was, but I remember her face of happiness, and thought it was the last Christmas we spent with my Grandfather, I will never forget that Holiday interaction they had. It was like a very shiny light that brightened the whole room. That’s when I learned the value of giving during the season, and why I love gifting special things to special people; just to see their surprised reaction.

My fave Christmas memory is when as kids we would go to the “forest” (otherwise known as the tree farm), we would wander around and pick out the tree we wanted and dad would saw it down and we would all take it back to the car. It would stay on the porch for a bit but on Christmas eve we would go to bed with just the lights on the tree and when we woke in the morning Santa had been there and left presents and decorated the tree. Always a bright surprise in the morning.
