It’s Thursday!! Are you ready for the weekend? If you are a Military family it’s a four day weekend! You’ll have your spouses home while the kids are at school! Make it a good day ok!! đ You know I will! The hubs and I have a lunch date planned together. It’s time for my Thursday Thoughts. Talking about social anxiety. 
Is it just me or does the world seem like such a scary place now? As a child I dreamed of going to the pyramids in Giza, visiting Mexico, and the Holy Land.. now I’m thinking “maybe not.” It’s not exactly safe to travel to those places anymore. The Holy Land is pretty much in ruins because of all the warfare happening in that part of the world, people are getting killed left and right here in the United States. This is not a political post, I’m not going to talk about gun laws. This is personal. I worry. I worry about my children each and everyday they are not by my side. I worry about my husband. There is always something to worry about now a days. Am I the only one? Surely I can’t be. I have a little bit of social anxiety.
But.. I have to say I don’t let it keep me home. We get out as much as possible and enjoy life. We are hoping to do a couple mini-trips this long weekend. Maybe the zoo or the beach, still aren’t 100% on plans yet but we are getting out. We have to! You can let everyday occurrences keep you down and keep you from living life. It’s about being vigilant and exploring.
Have you ever felt irritable and not really known why? Next time you feel crabby ask your self when was the last time you got out and enjoyed the town you live in. Or headed out for a  day of shopping or sightseeing. Or gotten out of the house?! Yes! I am guilty of this too! Get out of the house. You will feel more alive and be distracted from your worries. It has done wonders for me. Or you know what don’t wait.. ask yourself now!
