It doesn’t take much to make this girl cry, you know that by now. I received the movie Max to facilitate this sponsored review. Without giving the complete movie away I’ll tell you a few things I loved about it! This is Max the Hero review.
This movie got me early on. The story of Max and U.S. Marine Kyle Wincott shows the bond a military k-9 develops with his handler is set in Texas, Angelina County to be exact. Want to hear something funny? I’m from Angelina County! Wild right? That made me excited to see the rest of the movie. Sadly there were no landmarks that I recognized but that didn’t take from the movie for me.

Just from the trailer you get the feeling that you are going to go thru a range of emotions watching this film. I’ve said it before, we don’t have dogs but if we did, we’d have a German Shepard like Max. They are such beautiful animals and can be trained to do amazing things.
Without spoiling the movie for you, you know what Max’s handler dies in combat and Max returns home. The grit of the story begins when Wincott’s family is dealing with the loss of their son and brother when they get word that Max will be getting put down. As a service dog that is hard to handle they retire the dogs and if they are too hostile they get put down unfortunately. The Wincott family saves Max and the story begins.
I won’t go into more because I don’t want to spoil the movie. I watched the movie with the hubs and I can’t wait for Big A to watch it with us.

The movie MAX is one of the better movies i have seen lately. The beginning of the movie really touched me! This movie made me respect army dogs and there handlers more than i ever did. The German shepherd dogs show you again in this movie how great these creatures are, i think everybody who will watch this movie and when it’s done you want a German Shepard too. For everyone who loves dogs, action, a good script with great actors and a fantastic dog als main character should watch and like this so I really recommend this movie to every one!
