Coffee-Mate Coffee Break with my Soldier #CMSalutingHeroes #shop

One of the special things the hubs and I like to do weekly is enjoy a cup of coffee together. Sometimes we can do it after dinner, but the majority of the time I enjoy a Coffee-Mate coffee break with my Soldier on Sunday afternoon after a delicious homemade brunch. During our coffee breaks, we talk about what happened during the week, the weekend and/or what’s to happen in the coming week. It’s truly our catch up time and I absolutely love it. It’s such a special moment for me. I love talking with my husband. We are a couple of chatterboxes, it’s really funny. Our current duty station is a training station so his hours can be long, and these moments together are very precious to me. The boys get their time with daddy and I like to have my time with my husband too. Even though our time apart has been long at times, I couldn’t be prouder of my husband and all of his accomplishments as a U.S. Soldier. He was truly born to be an American Soldier and I love him so much for his selflessness.  It’s a sacrifice for us all, but it’s all in honor of his service to our country. My friend and fellow Army Spouse, Leanne said it best, “Their happiness is our happiness,” because it truly is.
