I love the relationship between fashion, beauty and music; if you ask me it goes hand in hand. Not a day goes by that I don’t get ready for my day without music. Depending on the music I’m listening to, it can alter my mood all the way down to the nail polish I’m wearing. I’m very excited to have partnered with Unilever for the Sé Quien Tú Eres campaign. I’ll be sharing how Unilever products Caress and Dove help me be original and expressive! I hope that I can inspire you to find your own style!
Unilever partnered with fashion and beauty expert Kika Rocha the Se Quien Tu Eres campaign. Sé Quien Tú Eres translate to Know Who You Are. As corny as it sounds, it’s so important to know who you are. Self expression and individuality might sound like overwhelming terms to some but if you really look into how you carry yourself or do things you might just surprise yourself. I never really realized that the items that I use on a daily basis make me who I am and are a part of my self expression.
How many times has someone complimented you on something you are wearing or doing? That action or look is how that person is going to remember or recall you. It can be as simple as the body wash you use! Sometimes someone will compliment me on my perfume and I’m like, “It’s just my body wash!” It’s pretty awesome that the cost is minimal since I pick up my favorite products at Walmart!
Those two are my go-to on a daily basis! I leave my house feeling fresh and secure!
I mentioned how music played such an integral part of my day above. If I’m at home working, I’ve got the tunes going. It keeps me motivated and I might occasionally have a one person dance party.. Glad no one is here to record me! LOL Lately I’ve been inspired by Rock! I love metal, heavy, hair and contemporary rock music. I actually go thru seasons, well I call them seasons of listening to a genre for a bit and then moving on to another. Right now.. I’m feeling leather, jeans, boots you name it. Maybe it’s because of the season change too! I love changing with the seasons too!
This campaign has definitely brought out the rock and roll in me too! The hubs opened my eyes to heavy metal back when we got married and I have to admit I never looked back. I still listen to all other genre’s; we attended several concert festivals before he came back into the Army and it was amazing to be there in person. I want to share a fun concert or everyday look I would absolutely rock!

I use Dove Body wash… love the smell, plus it wakes me up in the morning when I can barely get moving but the smell of that in the shower helps!
I tried that Caress shower wash earlier this year and it smelled amazing. I am a Dove girl through and through though. My mom used the bar soap when I was younger and it always stuck with me. I am so glad they offer more products these days.
We love Dove in our house. It’s the only thing the older kids, plus adults can use that doesn’t make any of our skin break out or feel icky.
