We moved to Fort Gordon almost three years ago and two years prior to that we were at GoodFellow AFB, then MacDill AFB, then Fort Bragg. Each time we have been moved by the government. Thankfully, “knock on wood” we’ve never had to terrible of an experience. Since being a part of Lost During My PCS, I have read horror-story after horror story of moves gone terribly wrong and items never received. It’s terrifying to think that you’re things are being packed, stored and moved to not make it to your new destination. As if moving wasn’t hard enough already.
