When Aramis was an infant I was all kinds of on-board with teaching him sign language. It didn’t happen, but it’s not that I didn’t try, he just wasn’t interested. One thing that did interest him was a show called, Signing Time. It also peaked my interested and to this day, I can sing a few of the songs. Rachel is my absolute favorite children’s television programming host.
Did you know Rachel and her friends have produced a new series of educational children’s programming? Yes! I’m so excited to share about her new show, Rachel & the TreeSchoolers! I know my boys have loved the shows so far! And hopefully by pledging to their KickStarter campaign, we can secure this amazing programming for our kids.
Ezra gets all kinds of excited when the show starts! and So do I because of the highly educational program he’s about to enjoy! There’s nothing like having the certainty that my kids are watching quality educational television.
Here’s information about Rachel & the TreeSchoolers
Treeschoolers show is “based on a complete preschool curriculum – prepares kids for kindergarten and actively engages children in learning (signs, games, songs and, dance).” Treeschoolers “uses layered learning: teaches interrelated concepts vs.isolated concepts and teaches children HOW to learn with the CORI Method (wonder, ask, learn, share).”
Deemed “too educational,” by TV executives Rachel decided to go with Kickstarter. This way, it becomes a “family funded show“. Five episodes were funded in less than 30 days and currently this KickStarter will help fund three new episodes.
