Our Paths Will Cross Again

January 19, 2013 By Candy

Yes they will! It’s amazing what we have seen and will see throughout my husband’s career. I get giddy on the possibilities. The cities that we have  been citizens in, people that we have met along our journey; some memorable, some not so memorable and even some I wish I would have never met at all. But you know me, I stay positive and learn from those situations. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not one of those crazy women that gets into fights (and I’m talking real scuffles people) or even get loud with folks. I’m not that girl. I keep it classy.

Depending on your spouses mos (your spouse’s job) will depend on how often you; or if you will at all–  run into the same people that you have been stationed with in the past. Don’t burn your bridges!  Seriously, how awkward would it be if you were rude to someone and thought, “We are leaving, I’ll never see that B again!” Yes, You Totally Will or you could. It might be a couple duty stations later, but you’ll end up running into her at the commissary! Uh huh. Not any experience I have had thank God!

Trust me on this!

Then of course there are those people you do wish you’d get stationed with again just to catch up and pick up where you left off. There are several ladies I’d love to see again! It’s happening at this duty station. We have met up with two previous co-workers of my husband and hear of a couple more headed our way.  Very excited to see how everyone has been.  And to meet the new additions.

There is always a plus to the negative.

Question:
Have you ever met up with someone you used to be stationed with in the past? How’d it go?
