When we go out to eat it’s a party of four for our table. I remember when we were a party of two and how it was. Just the two of us. Then we slowly grew to a party of three and then four. It’s amazing how things change when you go out for a bite to eat when a family grows. The whole dynamic can be either ok or completely chaotic. But then again, that’s what makes each family different and interesting. Right?!
Our little party of four loves going to Red Lobster for Lobsterfest! The hubs and I love our seafood and the boys love the Cheddar Bay Biscuits® and the fried fish dishes. Hey, they will grow to love seafood, as long as we keep it in the rotation. Aramis considers himself a fish stick connoisseur, we are slowly introducing more seafood into their diets with great success. I think the lobster will be so beautiful he will be asking for bites from our plates!
Did you know this year the menu has been extended to include nine new menu items along with the classic Lobsterfest menu? Oh yes! Check out three of the newest additions to the lobster menu:
- “Dueling Lobster Tails: A roasted Maine lobster tail topped with tender shrimp in a creamy garlic sauce paired with a golden-baked Maine lobster tail with crab-and-seafood stuffing. Served over mashed potatoes, roasted tomatoes and green beans.”
- “Lobster in Paradise: A split Maine lobster tail fried in our signature coconut batter, spicy grilled shrimp and a lobster-and-shrimp bake topped with toasted crushed macadamia nuts.”
- “Ultimate Surf and Turf: A Maine lobster tail baked with crab-and-seafood stuffing paired with a peppercorn-seasoned grilled sirloin topped with Maine lobster meat in a citrus-hollandaise sauce. Served over mashed potatoes, roasted tomatoes and green beans.”
And not to forget that with each entree a basket of those delicious unlimited Cheddar Bay Biscuits® and salad are included with each entree. My mouth waters just thinking about the Cheddar Bay Biscuits®.
Which Lobsterfest entrees am I looking forward to enjoying? Goodness if I had to choose one?? I’d have to say the exceptional and always delicious Ultimate Surf and Turf! Nothing like a little seafood and a little beef too! Or maybe the Dueling Lobster tails.. oh there’s nothing like having options on one plate right?!
One of the things that I am happy about is that where ever we PCS to, there’s a Red Lobster! It’s definitely something that I could say reminds me of home.
