Hi Candypolooza friends! My name is Kelley and I am so excited to be sharing a healthy breakfast smoothie with yall! I blog over at the Grant life and my one New Years resolution was to be consistent in all aspects of my life, especially health and fitness. Im trying to eat better and I have started to make smoothies for breakfast. Delicious smoothies. My new favorite is this peanut butter banana breakfast smoothie.
To make this smoothie you will need:
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup ice
one banana
1/4 oatmeal
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 tablespoon chia seeds
Chia seeds are similar to poppy seeds in size but are jam packed with fiber and Omega-3. Just one tablespoon gives you 4 grams of fiber. They dont have a taste and can be added to almost anything. The seeds absorb water and become gel-like which helps keep you full.
Mix everything in the blender until its the consistency you like. I like my smoothies to be thicker so I add a little more ice. I pretend they are a milkshakes. But good for you. Thats it. Wasnt that easy? And trust me its pretty dang good too!
If yall get a chance stop over and say hello! I have another smoothie recipe on the blog!
Thanks for having me Candy!

Hi Jelli!
I have been using Chia seeds for about a month now. I put them in almost everything! I love that they block your body from absorbing certain fats. 🙂 Hope you are enjoying a happy and easy pregnancy!
