I had an epiphany as I was eating my breakfast with E this morning. I eat like I’m being timed! Or eat like I’m in a race, or in basic training and the drill Sgt. is standing over you telling you to eat.. (the hubs told me about that!) Catching on? I’ll stop with the examples! LOL
If you are a mom you know exactly what I’m talking about. In my mind I’m thinking, “Hurry up before food starts flying or he gets fussy!”

I keep thinking we shouldn’t have to eat fast, we should be able to enjoy our meals too! There has to be a way to eat comfortably so that our food digests properly and that we don’t eat so fast we inhale everything and our minds think, “hey I’m still hungry!” So we tend to over eat. Or maybe that’s just my problem?? LOL
I don’t have an answer for you this morning, but maybe I’ve put a “bug” in your ear so that we become more conscious.
While I was feeding E this morning, or actually not feeding he was having his usual meal food fight since evidently he wasn’t hungry. I stopped inhaling my beautiful omelet and thought, “Girl Slow Down!” I slowed my chewing and drinking and enjoyed my food and coffee. I’m going to try to do that each meal from now on.
