What Should I Be Doing

April 20, 2013 By Candy

How many times have you asked yourself that question?

What Should I Be Doing?

Right now- I should be asleep.

But I figured I’d write up a post and just see how things are going for you. This week was really something. If you read my post My Boston Connection, you read about my friend Tammie. I’m so glad she’s ok and she’s back to running. She’s running for 24 hours to raise money for charity. Go Girl! Goodness all around.

I’m glad that the suspect was caught after what seemed like an eternity.  Even though only one was caught, the other will forever be silent and we’ll never know his half of the story. If you have been watching the coverage like I have, you know he sounded like a twisted guy. I’d say another choice word- but I won’t go there.  I’m too nice of a person sometimes.. smh

Another event that hit close to home was the fertilizer explosion in West, Texas. We are about four hours away from West. My heart is completely broken for this town. I’m from a very small East Texas town like West and I can’t imagine the pain and devastation everyone is going thru. I saw a really awesome interview with the Czech Foreign Ambassador that noted the high Czechoslovakian community in West and called West the Czechoslovakian capital of the US.  I really liked that.

So What Should I be doing?  I will be praying. Praying for those in West, Texas. Asking for strength and patience for each of them.  Praying for all the people in Boston that are trying to return to normal. Saying a short prayer for you too. It’s been a tough week and who knows what else fell on your plate too.

This is a ramble, but a thoughtful ramble and it’s from the heart.. thanks for reading.

ok i’m going to bed now-
