Where’d it Go?!

December 30, 2012 By Candy

Do you feel the same way? Where in the world did 2012 go? I feel like it was just yesterday that we brought in the new year with my niece and our dear friends in St. Petersburg, Fl!

A whole year later we are now in Texas. Settled and spending the holidays with our families back home and looking towards the New Year with eagerness and excitement.

Our family doesn’t really have an exciting New Years planned. Maybe a toast with some bubbly at midnight; possibly some fireworks. Either way we will be spending it together and that’s what matters most to me.

How will you be spending the last few hours of 2012? Leave me a comment and a winner will be chosen for a gift card! Ends Jan 2, 2013.

Here’s to having a winning New Year! All the best to you and yours! Thanks for reading Candypolooza!

We will be going out for chinese food early, the back to the inlaws to have a birthday cake for my hubby. Then we will come home before it gets too late to tuck in the baby and hopefully have a quiet night and maybe watch the ball drop if we don’t fall asleep first. Happy New Year!

We are throwing a big New Year’s Eve Celebration, got the tent out, everyone is bringing their best NOM bomb dishes, I’m making bbq Kalua pork sliders & Guava glazed ham. We got prizes, games and fireworks lined up, but the biggest blessing of all for me is my boy is home for New Years, since he joined the Army 9yrs ago, we don’t get to see him on New Years, he was either in Iraq or couldn’t make it home….but this year he’s ringing in 2013 with us & he bought our 1st brand new twin grandbabies too!! Words can’t express the love and gratefulness I have right now, talk about walking on sunshine, I’m walking on SPARKLES!!
I wish you and your family a most blessed & fabulous New Year filled with Love, Peace, Joy & Blessings!

I don’t k ow where 2012 went but I was happy to see it go. Not the best year for our family (aside from finding out we were expecting a baby boy!) spent the last night of the year visiting my moth in law. Let the kids stay up to ring in the new year but paid for it the next day. Happy new year.
