Thursday Thoughts 2

April 10, 2014 By Candy

Well hello Thursday, day before Friday. It’s nice to see you again. I really loved doing this post a couple weeks ago so I’m going to try to do them more often. Here’s another installment of  Thursday thoughts…

Thursday Thoughts

So lately my friends leaving has been on my mind a lot. Another bites the dust today, as a matter of fact. Ashley it’s been real my friend. Hopefully I’ll go visit you in the Summer. But I’ll def miss her, like I’m missing my Melissa, Wendy and Pam. Blah- saying good-bye or “See you later” doesn’t get any easier.

Ok, have you seen the Overstock.com commercial where the guy buys the engagement ring online? Yeah- I always think to myself, “I’d kill my man if he bought my diamond on the net!” Just saying, you can’t check clarity and all that other jazz..

I’ve been catching up on a lot of television lately. I love reality tv and Bravo takes up most of my television viewing time. I love Mr. Andy Cohen! He’s so stinking cute, yes I watch WWHL and yes sometimes I even watch the after show online! OBSESSED! maybe a little..

I’ve been working with a personal trainer on post for three weeks now.. Well actually this is my month mark. I’ve only lost 3lbs. I’m kinda bummed with that number, but I need to check my inches. Is it just me, it probably is but when I start working out heavy and continuous I feel and I feel that I look bigger.  It’s very discouraging.. But I must keep on. This damn gut will go down.

I’m nervous and excited about speaking at a small social media workshop next week. It’s happening on post for a few Military Spouses and/or small business owners. Not going to lie, I don’t have anything on paper yet, but it’s brewing in my head. That’s my method ya’ll.. leave me to it. 😉

This weekend my Tiger Cub is participating in the Space Derby. We’ve been hard at work on the rocket. Hoping he does well and doesn’t get down on himself if he doesn’t.

I had the funniest thing on my mind the other day and now I can’t remember.. Bummer. That’s what I get for not writing it down..

This week is pretty blah, I’ve got to write down my thoughts more. I was at Urgent Care a few weeks ago and was actually writing in a notebook. The doctor happened to walk in as I as writing and she kinda gave me a look. Like “Who does that still? How old are you again?” I know you’ve seen the little girls writing in their journals and stuff. I guess that’s what I looked like to her. If only she knew I was addicted to writing lists.. I love writing on calendars too. When I think about how much I enjoy writing in calendars it makes me think I’m just making myself older.. Every day that passes is one more day… blah.. but I can’t help myself.

When was the last time you wrote with an actual pen? My penmanship is terrible. I feel like making myself write more in pen and paper to work on my handwriting.. Pretty sad!

Ah but before I go check this out!

I’ve got a lot of wonderful opportunities coming my way in the coming months. In a few days I’ll be launching a fabulous giveaway with AT&T in honor of Military Spouse Appreciation Week. If you didn’t know, Military Spouse Appreciation Day is always the Friday before Mother’s Day weekend. Pretty cool eh?!  The giveaway is going to be EPIC. Please don’t miss it!

And- No you don’t have to be Military to enter. But I’d love for you to share with all of your Military friends and family.
