I have something pretty exciting to share with you guys! Disney has release a new trailer for their 2018 holiday feature film THE NUTCRACKER AND THE FOUR REALMS! Coming November 2018! I can’t wait, it’s got a fantastic cast and you can only imagine the music will be divine!

All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift from her late mother. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world. I have some pretty great memories of watching the original Nutcracker with my grandma. This year I am planning on starting a new tradition of watching The Nutcracker and the Four Realms with my family. Nothing is better than snuggling up on the couch with my family and eating some yummy Nutcracker cookies!! After the movie is over we will make some Nutcracker Gingerbread House. I think between this movie, snack, and craft (a yummy one) will make for the perfect night in this winter!
Thanks for the information on Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms! It sounds wonderful and I am sure Keira Knightly will be magnificent as the Sugar Plum Fairy. I used to dance in that ballet almost every year until I was 16. I also saw it many times. I can’t wait to see the movie.
