Our weekdays aren’t filled with activities like they have been in the past. Scouts, soccer, and playdates have been replaced with tutoring for Big A. With the move back in January we were concerned to overload his plate so all the activities he’s used to having been put on hold until August or September. But even with just tutoring, the week continues to fly by and it feels like we are always on the road. Crazy right? I guess it’s just the nature of the beast. One of the things that I’m always looking for good snacks for these boys. The new Honey Maid GoBites are that snack for us! It’s proven to be a fast break for busy kids like mine!
You know this kid of mine loves television as much as his momma. So when he sees a moment to get some tele time he grabs his jar full of Go Bites and takes a quick five. Five minutes until we start homework, five minutes until we sit down to read together or five minutes until we head out to tutoring. Snack time with Honey Maid Go Bites is super easy and nutritious. I saw the individual bags and I’ll be picking some of those up next time. They take a snack time at school so those will be a great snack to send to school with him. Even with the extra hour of daytime we find ourselves coming home at almost dark most days, but honestly I wouldn’t have it any other way. I want to see my boys thrive in all instances.
Even though E is only three we want him to have activities of his own. We tried to get him into soccer and failed miserably. He was not impressed, so we are going to sit out this season of Soccer School. I might try swimming with him next.. I’m a glutton for punishment I guess.. but it’s so important for the boys to be active. I love getting out there with them too. I want them to take every opportunity.
Big A loves soccer and E just isn’t impressed. Brothers that are like night and day I tell you. I find it so funny that one loves chocolate and the other only tolerates vanilla.. I was happy to learn that Honey Maid GoBites is available in chocolate and vanilla flavor to please even the pickiest snackers! They knew I’d be buying two boxes to satisfy my picky boys. I was also happy with the calorie count too. “With 5 grams of protein and 7 grams of whole grain in every 30 gram serving, Honey Maid GoBites are a snack they can love and you’ll feel good about.” -How about that?! I’m happy with this! Wanna know my favorite?
I love the chocolate!! They are delicious! A great snack to eat on the way to or from our activities that will be a staple in our pantry from now on.
