Disclosure: I am a Smooth Fitness blogger. I received product for review, however all opinions are my own.
It’s the first Move It Monday of 2014 and I didn’t make any resolutions but I just know I need to get serious with my health this year. Thankfully I don’t have any serious health issues.. like Diabetes, high cholsterol or any other obesity related issues. In the past I guess because I’m short and heavy people automatically assume I’m riddled with those type of diseases.. Thank God, I’m not. One thing that I have always been is active. In school I played volleyball, basketball and ran track up until my junior year. I decided to work and make money versus doing sports.. But that didn’t mean I wasn’t active. Thankfully being active and exercising has always been in my life so it wasn’t something that I just stopped doing ya know.
After I graduated high school I kept on going to exercise classes and doing activities outdoors. And yes I did join a softball team.. What is it with adults playing softball.. LOL every city we’ve ever lived in has an adult softball league. I think in Tampa there was a kickball league too! That would have been fun! But running has always been a constant. I’ve done 5k’s here and there and back in 2012 I completed my first half marathon.
I don’t look like a runner.. it’s ok.. I’m alright with that too..
One of the exercise classes I have always been up to do is spinning. Yeah I don’t look like one of those either. but I can get thru a spinning class like a boss! I am so greatful to Smooth Fitness to be a part of the SmoothBlogger program. Having the Smooth Fitness Velocity Series V350 Indoor cycling bike at home is a dream come true. I love being able to take a spin on my bike anytime of the day or night. Next post I’m going to go post about my favorite spinning classes on YouTube.
Keep it moving everyone!! Kick this Move It Monday’s arse! 😉
