We are enjoying a summer of reading. Excited to bring The Doggy Diva Diaries Presents Miss Olive Book review to you. Many thanks to MediaVista Public Relations for providing books for review and keep reading as I’m also hosting a giveaway. Recommended for ages 4-9, Miss Olive Finds Her Furever Friends teaches a beautiful story that your children will enjoy.
What I Loved
Without spoilers, if you have pets that are disabled you’ll be so happy to read this series of books. Miss Olive Finds Her Furever Friends is the second book by Susan Marie. After reading the first book, Miss Olive Finds Her Furever Home, I knew this was going to be an endearing series that teaches everyone compassion for people and animals alike. It speaks to my heart when books are not only visually beautiful in their illustrations but beautiful in the sentiment of the content.
What You’ll Love
Miss Olive will definitely leave a paw print in your heart, not only from the cute character she portrays in the books but her work in advocating for homeless and special-needs animals. Yes, Miss Olive is a real doggy! Miss Olive is a tiny, rescued Italian greyhound and joined her “furever” home with Ms. Susan Marie in 2015.
In her first book, Miss Olive Finds Her Forever Home, you’ll meet Miss Olive and learn her story. It’s a great story that has an even more beautiful ending. I really enjoyed talking to Ezra about Miss Olive and how he reacted to learn more about her. It’s so important to teach our children about disabilities in humans and our pets.
I invite you to learn more about Susan Marie and the original Doggy Diva Sophia on TheDoggyDiva website. You’re going to LOVE all of the good these divas are doing!
About the Book
Miss Olive Finds Her Furever Friends continues the story of a little Italian Greyhound with three legs who is adopted by a loving family in the award-winning first book in the series, Miss Olive Finds Her Furever Home. In Miss Olive Finds Her Furever Friends, Miss Olive learns that it’s her birthday and that her parents have planned a special celebration which will include treats, presents, and friends. Her party is nearly ruined when she runs into a couple of grouchy dogs at the park who proceed to bully the poor pup. She realizes that true friends will stick by her and won’t join in with taunts from bullies.

We rescued a 9 year old dog two years ago his name is Benson and both my little girls love him. He really doesn’t do much but let’s them get away with everything since they give him food. I do follow you on Facebook and Instagram but don’t have twitter and plan on adding doggydiva on fb too!
