This was totally a Disconnected Weekend. Took a very quick trip home and I took my laptop but I never unpacked it. Was I nervous? Yes a little. Should I have been? No, not at all.. But that’s my nature. What if I miss something important.. What if I needed to do something. I didn’t. I can ask myself so many questions and be worried about this or that, but in reality- it all can wait when it comes to my family.
I think in the reality of life and blogging you have to disconnect every once in awhile. I know bloggers who disconnect all weekend. There are times when I do blog on the weekend in effort to get ahead for the week. Those are nice weekends sometimes when we don’t have much to do and the boys take extra long naps.
This weekend was rushed and crabby. My poor little Ezra has strep throat! I have no clue how he even got strep throat. The child stays home with me.. from what I was told by the Urgent Care doc, “It’s going around..” Great! My kid was the lucky one. NOT! Holding my son and comforting him in his pain was my main priority this weekend. I really couldn’t do much for him, but hold him.
