I need some Mamavation Motivation. These past couple of weeks have been way nutty. I’m not sure if others can attest to this but, for some reason after each 2 week challenge week 3 is a complete bust. Like I stayed so strict during the past two weeks, my body just shuts down. And with the holidays, it’s just all over the place.
I have been eating more fruits and vegetables thanks to juicing. I still can’t bring myself to use the juice as an actual meal. Maybe I should make it chunky so it feels like a meal? Who knows, but atleast I’m getting my daily intake of fruits and vegtables right? There’s always a positive to a negative.
I have continued to workout but the lbs have crept back up. The weight I lost during the challenge is back. But what goes up, will go down again. I went walking/running a couple times and did a couple cardio classes at the Ymca. I attempted to attend an Aqua Zumba class, but it was taken off the schedule to my dismay. Boo!
Even though this post is a bit of a “downer,” I am trying to maintain a positive attitude. It can and will get better! Wishing each of my Mamavation Sistas a wonderful week!
This post is sponsored by Doctor G and hosted by Mamavation – a community dedicated to obesity prevention & weight loss for women and I’m writing this to be entered into a giveaway.
The holidays are difficult for everyone! Don’t give up – keep up the good work and find what motivates you 🙂
You are amazing Candy! This is a new week, don’t give up!! If I can do it, then so can you! We are all here supporting & cheering you on the entire way!
Thanks Rachel! You are awesome! I wanna be like Rachel!! 🙂 Gotta get my shiz together!
Awww! Well I will do whatever I can to help you!
You got this and we got your back!!!!
I had the SAME THING happen after the two week challenge. Why is it so hard to rebound? We will both do better in the coming weeks. We can do it!
I am thinking it’s because we stay so strict and kick butt that we loose it after it’s over.. I hate it. 🙁 Yes, Crystal We sure will!
You know I bet you put on muscle mass when you did the challenge. I’d say use the tape measure. For 6 weeks I lost no weight, but measuring inches lost helped to motivate me to keep going and know I was doing something. Muscles don’t weigh more…and pound is a pound is a pound, but they are more dense so the scale may go up at times when you are replacing fat with muscles. Just keep going!
I think that it is that is happening.. but those number are so deceiving 🙁 and it just sends the train derailing..
Thanks for your comment Tracy!
Hey, maybe next time you could restart the 2 week challenge after it ends the first time? I would totally do it with you, and that way you wouldn’t have any back slides? If it’ll work, let me know and we’ll do it together!
I hope you have an awesome week! 🙂
That sounds fantastic Joanna! We just might have to do that for the next one! 🙂 Thanks for your comment!!
